1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental services provided by Event Essentials Rental (“we,” “us,” “our”). By renting any equipment from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
2. Rental Agreement
2.1 Rental Period
The rental period is specified in your rental agreement. All items must be returned by the agreed-upon date.
2.2 Rental Fees
Rental fees are due at the time of booking. Any additional charges, including but not limited to late fees or damage fees, will be billed upon return of the rental items.
3. Damage to Equipment
3.1 Normal Wear and Tear
Normal wear and tear is expected and will not incur additional charges.
3.2 Damage and Breakages
If any equipment is damaged or broken during the rental period without the insurance coverage, which is 15% of the booking cost, you will be charged the full price of the damaged item, treated as a product sold to you.
4. Collection vs Delivery
4.1 Collection
- Location: You must come to the location we provide to collect and drop-off the rental items.
- Hours: We are open for collections and drop-off from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Monday-Sunday).
- Responsibility: You must have tarps and straps to protect the chairs and tables from damage when transporting them. If you do not bring these, you will not be able to leave with the rental items.
- Gazebo Setup: If requested, we will provide you with instructions for the setup and takedown of the pop-up gazebos. You must ensure the gazebo is packed as it came in the provided bag.
4.2 Delivery
- Delivery Time: You will be provided with a delivery time within our operational hours. If you require a delivery at a specific time on the day of the event this can be arranged for an additional cost.
- Set-Up: We will deliver the rental items and set up on-site.
- Collection: We will collect the rental items at the end of the rental agreement. Chairs and tables must be stacked and ready for collection. Failure to do so will incur a fee for the manual labor required to organize and collect all the chairs and tables.
- Gazebo Setup: Complete setup and takedown of the pop-up gazebos are included in the delivery service.
5. Cancellation and Changes
5.1 Cancellation
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled rental date will result in the loss of your 20% deposit.
5.2 Changes
Any changes to the rental agreement, including the rental period or items, must be approved by us in writing.
6. Late Returns
If rental items are returned late, you will be charged 20% of the total rental booking price per day. If you do not respond after a certain period, we will assume the items are lost and inform the necessary authorities regarding the lost/stolen property. If you anticipate a late return, please contact us to arrange delivery for the following day or the next convenient time for us.
7. Liability
We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the use of our rental equipment. It is your responsibility to ensure the safe and proper use of all rental items.
8. Insurance
We offer an optional insurance package that covers accidental damage to rental equipment. The insurance, which costs 15% of the booking cost, must be purchased at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
9. Payment Terms
All payments are due in full at the time of booking. We accept the following payment methods: [List Payment Methods].
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
